Hiking the Columbia River Gorge is a vey humbling experience. There are hundreds of waterfalls here that make up this gorge. One can only scratch the surface of what this unique place has to offer. After taking a beautiful hike along a sheer cliff, we made it to Metlako Falls. This 80-foot waterfall is one of the gems of this gorge. Experienced kayakers travel to this waterfall to feel their adrenalin pump as they plummet down the falls. As I pressed the shutter I could not help thinking just how powerful yet beautiful nature can be.
